Mutolere School of Nursing and Midwifery is found in Mutolere Parish in Kisoro district, South Western Uganda.
It is a private, not-for-profit Catholic health institution which established in 1984 by Kabale Diocese with the Franciscan Sisters of Breda to address the shortage of local healthcare workers by the adjacent St. Francis Hospital Mutolere, which was founded in 1947.
Originally focusing on certificate-level courses, the school introduced direct-entry diplomas in 1994 and comprehensive nursing courses in 2006.Affiliated with the Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau, it provides comprehensive training for nurses and midwives with modern facilities.
The institution is registered by the Ministry of Education and Sports (Reg No. ME/TVET/097).
