Immaculate Heart Girls’ School Nyakibale was opened on March 8, 1969 founded by Bishop Gervanse Nkalanga and Fr. Vincent Kanyonza. It is located in Nyakibale Parish in Rukungiri district with Motto “Excelsior” (AIM HIGHER). It is headed by the Sisters of Our Lady of Good Counsel and offers both O and A levels with only boarding section.
Its mission is to provide Girls with quality education for their own Human Integral Development and nation building. The vision of the school is to produce a holistic girl child, nurturing and empowering young girls to reach their full potential.
